Our customer is a global data MVNO that delivers enterprise grade, global connectivity and IoT services across more than 200 countries and 600+ mobile carriers' networks. Webbing's secured network delivers network protection and web content intelligence.
Webbing is looking for a Network Monitoring System Administrator to take ownership, manage and maintain Webbing's existing and new monitoring solutions within Webbing Network Operations Center.
Our customer is a global data MVNO that delivers enterprise grade, global connectivity and IoT services across more than 200 countries and 600+ mobile carriers' networks. Webbing's secured network delivers network protection and web content intelligence.
Webbing is looking for a Network Monitoring System Administrator to take ownership, manage and maintain Webbing's existing and new monitoring solutions within Webbing Network Operations Center.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with and configuration of mobile and IP network monitoring
- Good understanding of Network management protocols
- Familiar with network management protocols (SNMP, MQTT)
- Understanding of mobile network call flows and procedures
- Familiar with IP and cellular network protocols
- General understanding of DBA
- Very good English both spoken and written
- Strong personal drive and great desire for self-learning
- Interest in mobile technologies, IoT and technologies in general
- Accuracy and high sense of responsibility
- Ability to work in a global company environment
- Previous experience working with monitoring systems provided by Ploystar, Paessler and similar will be considered advantage.
What you will do
- Evaluate and improve Webbing existing monitoring setup.
- Proactively look for and evaluate new Monitoring systems and solutions to improve existing monitoring capabilities within NOC team.
- Existing Monitoring system Administration and configuration
- New monitored element implementation and configuration within monitoring systems
- Alarm definition and KPI definition and visibility setup based on Webbing business needs.
- New and existing monitoring element handover organization to NOC.
- Internal system documentation creation as well as involvement in team monitoring procedure creation.
