The Luxembourg company G-Core Labs team is looking for a System Engineer to our CDN product team.
We help companies around the world gain and maintain a competitive edge in their respective markets.
The company was founded in 2011, Experts in creating high-load systems began designing a new global network infrastructure. At the moment there are more than 400 people in the company, it has offices in Luxembourg, Germany, Lithuania, the USA, and Georgia. Offices are scheduled to open in Poland and the Asia-Pacific region: Singapore, the Philippines.
G-core has over 140 points of presence, including more than 15 unique cloud locations, and over 25 data centers with servers available for order around the world.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a System Engineer to our internal CDN product team.
Currently we are working on a complex service that helps to rent computing resources on your demand quickly and safely according to the required volume. GCore Cloud Team is responsible for the development, availability, and performance of the cloud platform's hardware and software.
Currently we are working on a complex service that helps to rent computing resources on your demand quickly and safely according to the required volume. GCore Cloud Team is responsible for the development, availability, and performance of the cloud platform's hardware and software.
- Develop and implement Edge Computing Platform
- With other engineers work on an evolving service architecture, implement and test new components and approaches
- Automate the deployment of new nodes and sites
- Improve monitoring and incident response
- Finding bottlenecks in terms of system and network performance
- Plan capacity and improve resource efficiency
Requirements
- You have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux and networking
- You have a good understanding of how the Internet works at the network level, configured BGP and know what ASN and Anycast are
- Have experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understand the purpose of CI/CD and use the appropriate tools
- You write scripts in bash or Python and like to automate routine tasks
- Experience with Puppet, Ansible, ClickHouse, Prometheus, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL
- Programming in Python/Golang
- SRE basics
- CDN experience
