The Luxembourg company G•CORE LABS is looking for a Python Software Engineer to join IAM backend development group to develop different IAM features, such as RBAC, Referral/Affiliates program, etc..
The company was founded in 2011. Experts in creating high-load systems began designing a new global network infrastructure.
At the moment there are more than 400 people in the company, it has offices in Luxembourg, Germany, Lithuania, the USA, and Georgia. Offices are scheduled to open in Poland and the Asia-Pacific region: Singapore, the Philippines. G-core has over 140 points of presence, including more than 15 unique cloud locations, and over 25 data centers with servers available for order around the world.
A big part of the IAM team is working remotely from different european cities. Each team is dedicated to specific projects and headed by an experienced team lead, the projects are tracked by the IAM departments project manager. All teams, heads and leaders often sync to make sure the vision of the products remains clear.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Software Engineer to join our IAM backend development team to make company's products even better.
The main tasks are:
The main tasks are:
- Building and maintaining efficient back-end features in Python together with a production team
- Improving applications performance and reliability
- Define REST API's and integrate them into our solutions
- Playing a role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient distributed application and services architecture, improving delivery pipelines and processes
Definitely:
- About 4 years of experience developing and maintaining highly available backend
- systems
- Experience with Django, Postgres, Docker, Celery, RabbitMQ
- Relevant experience with designing microservice-based software and REST APIs
- Understanding of modern software engineering practices in areas like CI/CD, test
- automation, microservices, distributed systems, and data management
- English level upper intermediate
- K8S, web security, DevOps, TBD, SRE
