Who we are
The Luxembourg company G•CORE LABS is looking for a Python Software Engineer to join CDN backend development group to make company's products even better and the work in net quicker.

The company was founded in 2011. Experts in creating high-load systems began designing a new global network infrastructure.

At the moment there are more than 400 people in the company, it has offices in Luxembourg, Germany, Lithuania, the USA, and Georgia. Offices are scheduled to open in Poland and the Asia-Pacific region: Singapore, the Philippines. G-core has over 140 points of presence, including more than 15 unique cloud locations, and over 25 data centers with servers available for order around the world.

A big part of the CDN team is working remotely from different european cities. Each team is dedicated to specific projects and headed by an experienced team lead, the projects are tracked by the CDN departments project manager. All teams, heads and leaders often sync to make sure the vision of the products remains clear.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for Python Software Engineer who will help the team build new and innovative products that in turn will run on company's globally distributed infrastructure:

The main tasks are:
  • Developing, rethinking and maintaining CDN functionality;
  • Integrating CDN with other Gcore services and products;
  • Participating in the development of feature architecture (together with other developers and architects);
  • Finding and fixing bugs;
  • Interacting with all correspondent teams: for ex, for clarification of requirements, development of implementation options, consultation of related groups on issues etc
  • Conducting other team members` code review
Requirements
Definitely:
  • Commercial experience with Python 3 & SQL, 3 + years
  • Previous experience with Django, DRF, Celery, Pytest
  • Knowledge of RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Docker
Will be a plus:
  • Any experience with Kubernetes, Drone CI
  • Modern approches to user authentification and/or authorization
