The Luxembourg company G•CORE LABS is looking for a Business Development Manager to help the company create and evaluate multiple (security-related) projects globally with medium to large size enterprises to win new business.

The company's core goals are to provide global low latency and reliable high availability services.
G•CORE LABS has over 140 points of presence, including more than 15 unique cloud locations, and over 25 data centers with servers available for order around the world.

All of the projects are actively scaling. The plans for 2022 include the development of infrastructure in Asia, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

And they are looking forward to welcome new members in their international team!


Who we are looking for
We are searching for a skilled specialist to actively approaching prospects & turning them into G-Core customers.

In this role you will be responsible for the success selling G-Cores DDoS Protection & Security Services.

Excellent knowledge and proven experience selling to the carrier and provider customers is a must.

We are looking for someone who is a natural go-getter, presentable, articulate, mature, well-educated & responsible and is ready to jump right in!

What will you do
  • Responsible for selling G-Cores DDoS Protection & Security Services
  • Actively approaching prospects & turning them into G-Core customers
  • Create and evaluate multiple (security-related) projects globally with medium to large size enterprises to win new business
  • Customer-facing skills to represent G-Core Labs well within the customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation incl. cross-sell/upsell
  • Drive product marketing and promotional campaigns
Requirements
  • Knowledge of DDoS mitigation technologies and products (on-premise/cloud /hybrid)
  • understand SaaS-based technologies and their implications for the enterprise
  • 3+ years of experience with distributed applications, infrastructure architecture, database architecture, applications, networking, and security protocols
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience selling to the carrier and provider customers. Knowledge of carrier network security technologies including but not limited to DDoS, BGP, firewall, WAF, HTTP, and web security technologies, proxies, caches, SSL/TLS, GRE, and IPsec tunneling, DNS, load balancing, network architecture, null routing, etc.
  • Natural ability to work with internal teams, product managers & technical staff to ensure we deliver to the customer's expectations
  • Solid business development &/or account management experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles
  • HubSpot CRM proficiency
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Customer-facing skills to represent G-Core Labs well within the customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
  • Integration of Public cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP, etc.
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and willingness to travel to customer locations to sell and deliver professional services upon request
  • Sales Pipeline review & management
  • CRM Reporting & Analysis
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills in English (Russian is desirable but not required)
  • BS level technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background preferred; MS degree desired
  • CISSP or any other relevant certificate is a plus

  • 3rd stage interview with Product Owner w/Pre-Sales,
