The company's core goals are to provide global low latency and reliable high availability services.
G•CORE LABS has over 140 points of presence, including more than 15 unique cloud locations, and over 25 data centers with servers available for order around the world.
G•CORE LABS provides customers with a first-class cloud infrastructure for computing, storing, protecting, and delivering content with delays of up to 30 ms worldwide.
The projects are actively scaling. The plans for 2022 include the development of infrastructure in Asia, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

Who we are looking for
The g-Core Labs team is looking for the experienced Head of Development Experience.
As a Head of Development Experience you`ll be in charge of the:
As a Head of Development Experience you`ll be in charge of the:
- Research modern tools and services and apply them to the development teams' pain points (Nomad, Envoy, Backstage, Consul, Boundary)
- Introducing PoC and then guiding and educating product teams in a multitenant environment
- Research service mesh and tracing technologies and enable engineering teams to use them for observability improvements (Istio/ Linkerd, Jaeger/Zipkin)
- Supply tools and pipeline automation to the engineering teams which help them to deploy services to multiple Kubernetes clusters or availability zones to archive better availability
- Cease manual secrets management
- Develop new standards, guidelines, and policies and ensure automated controls of them
Requirements
To become our candidate you should have:
- Solid experience in software development or maintenance (4+)
- Knowledge of Go programming and experience with the Python toolchain
- Advanced Linux user, shell/python scripting background
- Experience with Kubernetes and modern CI / CD tooling
- Understanding IT security concepts and shift-left approach
- Solid background with Configuration as a Code workflow and tools
- Sharing DevOps values
- Experience with HashiCorp products, Terraform/Pulumi, Puppet, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK, Loki, and any APM
- Understanding a variety of modern cloud services (like AWS or GCP have)
