Who we are
The Luxembourg company G•CORE LABS is looking for a Golang Software Engineer to help the company build new and innovative products that in turn will run on a globally distributed company's infrastructure.

The company's core goals are to provide global low latency and reliable high availability services.

G•CORE LABS
has over 140 points of presence, including more than 15 unique cloud locations, and over 25 data centers with servers available for order around the world.

You will work with different protocols like DNS, HTTP3, TCP, and UDP. In project stack use technologies and services like Kubernetes, Golang, Python, BitBucket, Nginx with custom modules and Lua scripts, ClickHouse.

The projects are actively scaling. The plans for 2022 include the development of infrastructure in Asia, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe, and Latin America.

At the moment, a big part of the CDN team is working remotely from different European cities. Each team is dedicated to specific projects and headed by an experienced Team Lead. The projects are tracked by the CDN department's Project Manager. All teams, heads, and leaders often sync to make sure the vision of the products remains clear.

And they are looking forward to welcoming new team members on board!



Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Golang Software Engineer to design, and develop СDN features. Ideally, the candidate should be able to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Software engineers must be skilled in development, writing code, and documenting functionality.

The main tasks are:
  • Increasing the performance of the CDN nodes;
  • Developing different CDN features, such as CDN shard management and image resizing.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience with Golang
  • Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix
  • Experience with RabbitMQ и PostgreSQL or similar
  • Experience with Docker
  • Knowledge of SOLID и DDD
  • Knowledge of modern CI/CD approaches
  • Proficiency in English (from B1)
