Sauce is a FoodTech start-up founded about 4 yrs ago in Tel Aviv, Israel. Its product is a Delivery Network and Operating System (OS) for successful local restaurants. Sause harnesses innovative algorithms to optimize the restaurant delivery ordering process from end-to-end, reducing costs, optimizing logistics - providing diners and restaurants with a superior and more economical service.
Founded in 2019, Sauce now has offices in New York, Miami and Tel Aviv. Its international team counts around 60 people from Israel, Estonia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and others. Besides, the company has customer support in the Philippines.

We are looking for an experienced Lead BI to join the company R&D team remotely!

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for Data Analytics Infra and tools - Develop a common data analytics platform so that all company data can be analyzed in a unified manner. Providing Self-Service Data capabilities to help everyone leverage data and analytics
- Drive analytical projects from conception to completion with high velocity and quality.
- Develop BI reports dashboards, analytics tools, forecasts and actionable recommendations that impact business decisions across the company
- Owns data warehouse - connecting data sources, and maintaining a platform and architecture in coordination with R&D infrastructure and operations teams to enable an analysis of subject areas, activities, and processes
- Do data-driven storytelling through quant analysis, dashboards and data visualization
- Once the basics are in place, grow the BI team -- this will begin as a hands-on role and grow into a leadership role
- Conduct analysis for management on topics like LTV, churn, segmentation, customer value, and other business KPIs
- Experience in e-commerce domain
- Acting as Business Analyst on past projects
- 5+ years experience building data infrastructures, reporting/analytics tools, and dashboards for non-BI end users.
- Experience with ETL tools and data pipelines (e.g. Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, dbt, Airflow).
- Hands-on experience with data tools (Superset, Rivery, Tableau, Big Query)
- Proficient in SQL, Python
- Experience with Databricks and Superset
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure,AWS,GCP), DevOps practices and Docker installation
- Quick learner, problem-solving aptitude, effective prioritization, proactive and strong attention to detail.
- High sense of ownership and growth mindset, ability to be self-directed.
- Ability to present data in a professional and clear way
- Ability to initiate and manage implementation
